ABOUT

     Maya Berry is a Washington, D.C. native and recent University of Virginia graduate with a B.A. in Media Studies, with a concentration in Film, and a B.A. in Drama, along with a minor in English.

     Her background combines media, performance, writing, brand storytelling, and client-facing communication, with a focus on how stories connect with audiences across entertainment, digital media, and consumer experiences. At UVA, Maya wrote, produced, and performed in an original short film, appeared in multiple university stage productions, and contributed to She Wrote Plays, an award-winning podcast.

     Most recently, Maya appeared as Angela/Millie in Sarah Ruhl’s Stage Kiss at Live Arts Theater in Charlottesville and participated in an NBC News interview promoting the production. She has also worked as a Situational Actor for the University of Virginia School of Law and gained client-facing experience through Rover and Elevate, managing customer communication, brand messaging, bookings, and personalized service.

     Maya graduated with a 3.9 GPA, earned Dean’s List recognition every semester, and is pursuing opportunities in media, brand storytelling, entertainment, production, and consumer engagement.
